Yesterday, December 3, 2016, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog announced The Last of Us Part II as PSX 2016. I would imagine that the entire room erupted into an emotional chaotic storm of hoots, hollers, cheers and tears. While I wasn’t there I am man enough to admit that every time I’ve watched the trailer I’ve been choked up and have teared up. It’s emotional and the emotions don’t diminish with subsequent views. I watched the trailer ten times and the emotions only seem to get stronger. If you haven’t played the The Last of Us then you’re missing out on one of the best stories and game play mechanics in video games. If you own a PS4 I would suggest buying The Last of Us: Remastered. And if the reason you haven’t played The Last of Us is because you own a different gaming console I would imagine that The Last of Us Part II will sell a lot of PS4’s. For those of you who haven’t seen the trailer, or for those of you that want to see it again, here it is.
Even though I have to, I can’t wait for the release date and additional information that will follow in the months to come.
